Lucky Land Masterplan

The architecture of the complex has a visual commonality with a variety of volumetric and textural treatments. The complex project has its own architectural charisma based on fresh techniques and images instead of literally reproducing ideas and imitating styles.

In developing the masterplan, we were inspired by the historic center of Kiev. Similar to the sectoral exits on Kiev's Maidan, Lucky Land's central promenade is flanked by a fan of residential streets that wrap around in plan and thus provide a variety of architectural perspectives - both on an urban and human scale.

The compositional center of the Lucky Land development is the new school, whose building and territory will become not only an educational institution, but also a center of sports and cultural activities. Not only children will be able to attend sections and activities - the center will also be open to adult residents of the complex during extracurricular hours.

The promenades of the complex are realized in the form of Lucky Street. This is an approach to landscaping that conceptualizes the concept of smart streets in the context of this particular project. We create an inclusive, open, functional space, but emphasize its aesthetics and richness of the environment. In everyday life, we are inspired by beauty and diversity. And Lucky Street has been designed as a space that can inspire.

As part of the landscaping of the complex's territories, we designed streets with separated lanes for pedestrians, cars, vehicles and cyclists, green parking lots, charging stations for electric cars, and intelligent lighting - energy-saving LED lights. The courtyards, playgrounds and other landscaping elements are individually designed, with the integration of Wi-Fi, gadget charging points and emergency call buttons.

As the historical center of Kiev borders with the green natural landscape of the Dnieper slopes, Lucky Land borders with the forest. A linear park serves as a buffer zone between the green massif and residential development. Continuing the Urban-Forest-Recreation concept, the park's landscape penetrates into the forest: there are lighted paths for hiking and biking, and already on the park's territory there are designed pavilions for recreation and a rope park.
