Business center Ariel

Description

Within the framework of this project our studio developed the concept of facade solution for the business center. The building is located in a developing business quarter in the very center of Limassol. Our task was to create a recognizable architectural image, which will become a kind of visual point of attraction in the panorama of the district's development.

The building has a characteristic flowing silhouette, and we developed its color scheme from the combination of wood texture with the smooth surface of snow-white panels. A high-rise business center building designed in this stylistic manner looks like an eloquent announcement of the future formation and prosperity of the entire neighborhood.

Project

floor - Ariel Business Center has a considerable number of floors and clearly rises above the surrounding buildings. In this case, instead of balancing the storey with the architectural surroundings, we emphasized the identity of the project - its architecture attracts the eye and seems to declare its intention to be in the center of attention

The design of the building originally had some asymmetry and a characteristic slope, we only accentuated it through the smoothness of the curve, along which the architectural silhouette of the business center as if rushes into the sky.

The smoothness of the lines in the architectural design of the facades is another expressive tool we used to emphasize the contrast between the buildings of the old neighborhood and the modern, charismatic architecture of the high-rise business center.

The building is designed in such a way that the snow-white cladding seems to wrap around the skyscraper massif, while leaving the front facade open, as if showing a section of the building structure with panoramic glazing of the floors, open terraces and visually weightless glass enclosures.

The finish of the "open" front façade has a wood texture. Its natural shade expressively echoes the snow-white panels, adding to the image of the business center a certain naturalness and at the same time status due to the use of natural textures in such a large-scale facade solution.

The composition of flowing forms and natural textures is completed by the façade landscaping, which we placed on the front façade and several open terraces wrapping around the building. In this way, the business center does not look completely "detached" from the Limassol city panorama and echoes the sunny landscape through living greenery.
